[INTERVIEW] SO COOL MAGAZINE OCTOBER ISSUE - Q&A Pt.2 Q: Right now cat boyfriends and dog boyfriends are very popular, which type do you think you are? [Cat type] calm, smart, introverted, careful and detailed, lazy, stubborn, thinks too much. [Dog type] hot blooded, exercise, extroverted, hardworking, careless, focuses on relationships and feelings. KRIS: I should be a mix of a cat-type and dog-type, in front of my friends I am rather crazy, and a little stubborn; with my girlfriend I will be much more masculine, wanting to protect her all the time. LUHAN: I think that I come under the dog-type of boyfriend because I’m quite extroverted and ardent. CHEN: I think I am a dog-type of boyfriend, because i place emphasis on relationships and feelings. XIUMIN: I feel that I am a dog-type of person, my personal traits are more like a dog-type. SEHUN: Cat, but I place a lot of emphasis on relationships and feelings!! TAO: Cat-type of boyfriend, I feel that I am a rather careful, stubborn person and likes to think, so I think a cat-type of boyfriend is more me. Q: Other than your own songs, what songs have you been listening to lately? KRIS: Lately, I like listening to hip-hop music. LUHAN: I tend to listen R&B songs, they’re quite like my personality - lighthearted. CHEN: I like to listen to a large variety of song types, I will listen to all kinds of genres of songs. XIUMIN: Recently, I have been listening to Kangta sunbae’s songs. SEHUN: I personally like lyrical love songs and some R&B and soul songs. TAO: Usually, I like to listen to some R&B songs, lighthearted songs make my mood feel good. Q: If you were to get a one month holiday, what would you most like to do? KRIS: If the holiday is for a month, I want to go around the world, to see the things and people of various countries. LUHAN: If I really did have a month’s holiday, I’d want to go home and spend it with my mum and dad. CHEN: I really want to go on a holiday with my family, to enjoy the happiness of being together as a family. XIUMIN: If there is a holiday, I really want to meet with my friends, relax and play or have a small drink together (laughs). SEHUN: Go to a place with a lot of people, and play without a care in the world, also to go to a quiet place and enjoy some personal time. TAO: If it is really possible, I want to be by my parents’ side, and also to make use of the time to improve my rap skills and variety skills. Q: What do you think is your biggest change in the new album KRIS: I think that my change isn’t that big, I am handsome as usual (laughs), my hair got shorter. LUHAN: I think that my hair is probably what had the biggest change this time round, it’s really different to my hairdo from the last album. CHEN: I think there isn’t much change, If I had to say, it should be my dance skills, I feel I am more adept to being on stage. XIUMIN: I feel that the biggest change is in terms of my appearance, because in the previous album, I still had a bit of baby fat, but now I’ve slimmed down a lot. The second change is that on stage when I perform, I’ve become even more at ease. SEHUN: We’ve changed in many areas, for example, we’ve all matured, dancing, singing, little actions, expressions? etc, although there are still many areas that we are lacking, but we will continue to grow. TAO: I feel that I have had a rather big change in terms of my image, compared to the previous album, I have even more personality. Q: If you had a chance to act in a movie as the main male character, what kind of role do you hope it is? KRIS: Actually I am a bit conflicted, on one hand I want to play the role of a very cool assassin, on the other hand, I want to act the role of a sad male character, I have confidence that I can act very well. LUHAN: I think that as long as it’s the male lead, I’d accept them all (laughs). I will do my best and act no matter what. CHEN: If there is such a good opportunity, I would want to try acting as an antagonist. XIUMIN: I feel that if it is acting, there is a greater opportunity for a cameo, because right now, I want to focus all my energy into singing and dancing. SEHUN: Chaebol? (laughs) actually the character doesn’t matter, everything is alright. TAO: I think it doesn’t matter what the character is, I will try to challenge and digest it, and express it to the best. Q: How do you usually communicate with fans? KRIS: There a very few opportunities, I find it a pity as well. If there is a chance for a fanmeet, I think this will be a very good opportunity to communicate. LUHAN: Normally when performing or when I’m at the airport, my method is very simple, it’s to smile brilliantly and wave to our fans. CHEN: My method is very simple, which is to brightly smile and wave at the fans that have come to see us. XIUMIN: Most interactions happen at fansigns and when we’re on stage performing and interacting with everyone, If we have the chance to hold our own concert, I hope that I can interact even more and even better with everyone. SEHUN: I feel that it could be through the official website or fan signs and when we’re performing on stage, actually, there aren’t many opportunities, I hope that in the future, there will be even more opportunities to interact with everyone.
