IS THIS LOVE? BOB MARLEY - The real meaning of the song and it - TopicsExpress

IS THIS LOVE? BOB MARLEY - The real meaning of the song and it not about psychical love either: Bob Marleys songs are very religiously. the song its not even about a woman, its about America. I wanna love you and treat you right - he blames something to America, so his not able to do that (hes JAH) - all this deal with the freedom that recently become more open in the USA due the civil right act in the USA well be together with a roof right over our heads - they will be united one day and share the same roof (America living in peace and harmony as ONE) .than sarcasm... well share the shelter of my single bed (ONE LOVE - PEACE REFERS TO JOHN LENNONS BED PEACE TORONTO) they will share the roof but the roof will be on his (Bob Marleys) side. (Reference to the changing tides in civil rights movement in the USA) this interpretation especially makes sense because of the next verse: well share the same room - FOR JAH PROVIDE THE BREAD - jah people are the one who will help us to survive one day. (Again goes back to the ONE LOVE and sharing the bread of JAH (The Lord) as community in peace) THIS SONG is NOT ABOUT LOVE but the idea of having an utophia spiritual society under JAH. Similar to how most people used to focus the USA as the American Dream. Bob was using satire and words and talk about the spirit of Jah and love of the American life (aka the American dream) due to civil right movement in the USA.) Jah bless you youtube/watch?v=DY0teglAID0
