#ISIS proves once again that ANY militant group (regardless of their school of thought) that has a primary objective of establishing Islam are the worst enemy of Islam and Muslims all over the world. It is apparent that those who cheered for ISIS havent really learned anything over the years. The signs are very clear! Whenever there is a power vacuum and bearded men start flocking in from every direction with a copy of the Quran, an AK-47, and talking frantically about liberating Ummah without an iota of sympathy for legitimate nationalistic/political struggles within the Ummah — you kind of know that some poor dude is going to end up beheaded in a YouTube video. Imagine the kind of opportunity it creates for the likes of Netanyahu and his supporter in the White House to delegitimise armed Palestinian groups and other legitimate struggles elsewhere. Their brutality pushes off even the most liberal of liberals in the West and the understanding that was achieved by the Muslim communities are washed off. So, again I repeat the signs so they can be avoided and condemned: 1. A militant group with no history or connection to a land or people; 2. makes use of power vacuum/political turmoil/military coup; 3. talks about establishing Islam and liberating ummah.
