******IT Manager**** ******London******* ******£50-£55k****** Our client are a highly successful and forward thinking chain of contemporary restaurants based in and around the capital, and they are currently seeking an IT manager to join their team. The IT Manager will be responsible for the effective performance of current systems and any development initiatives required for further improving the architecture, functionality, reporting and operational performance of the systems. The role will own the current IT systems and with the Finance Director will run a monthly steering committee with the current providers. The steering committee will review timetables agreed with the I.T providers and review the results of projects and the effectiveness of their ability to deliver the results against agreed service level agreements. • Oversee and be the champion for the current IT systems in place. • Identify business issues, risks and efficiencies, coupled with making and implementing improvements to the company IT policy and procedures to enable a full understanding of the business which will ensure timely and appropriate decisions are made. • evaluating user needs and system functionality; • make recommendations for further improving the architecture, functionality, integration, reporting and operational performance of the systems. • ensuring that IT facilities meet the needs of individuals and projects; • planning, developing and implementing the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectiveness; • scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems; • researching and installing new systems; • ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision; • chair regular reviews with suppliers to review performance against SLA’s and agree areas for improvement • ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to; • providing secure access to the network for remote users; • ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack; • providing users with appropriate support and advice; • managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems; • Responsible for updating all relevant systems in line with product development and new menu launches. • To support the management team with change management. Specifically in understanding of the capabilities and constraints of technology and resource implications in terms of budgets, plus the training and recruitment of specialist staff. • The role may be required to complete other duties as needed by the Finance Director
