“If” Is A Big Word! The tiny word “If” places a condition on the equation! This little two letter word has the capacity to change everything it is attached to. There are many in the Body of Christ who believe, all the promises of God are automatic. However most of them you will find are conditional. The word “If” is used 331 times in scripture. “If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land.” The word “If” is a signal of a sure consequence of your choices, good or bad. The Bible tells us, be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. “If” you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ you shall be saved! “If” you sow good you will reap good. “If” you sow evil, evil is what you will indeed reap. “If” you give, it is given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men heap unto your bosom. God places much emphasis on this little two letter word. Let me encourage you today to consider its importance in every decision you make. You may be to letters away from the greatest breakthrough in your life! “If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained,” (1 Timothy 4:6).
