“If we have Faith we need to follow without questioning” argument BVB To say that “our faith shouldn’t be questioned” destroys the very source of Faith itself. ... In order for a person to have a genuine Faith, first he must be PERSUADED to a certain belief. Questions doesn’t weakens ones Faith it establishes it if answered correctly and soundly. If we follow a certain system without scrutinizing it, we cannot call it genuine Faith it is a BLIND FAITH. That’s why God provided us complete information, His word so we might have faith. An Agnostic once told me, there are some things compel me to believe that there is in fact God up there, but Why DO I need Him? Why Do I need to be saved? if He already gave me the privilege to live I think that’s more than enough, I will live and die that’s how life goes. I cannot say “No you just really have to believe that there is God and you need to be save, follow this and “boom!” you are save, don’t ask any more question have faith…” We need to introduce God to Him, we need to let Him know everything why man needs to be saved, Why God needed to manifest himself as a man and died for us, we need to explain salvation, we need to answer any possible question with biblical answers until he is persuaded and follow without even telling him to…that is Genuine Faith…He cannot follow without questions, to follow with doubts is not faith at all, we must be convinced inside. A Faith that was never questioned is a weak faith. Any believer who claims that they have faith by just following what others say without examining it are on the wrong grounds, they can never defend their faith. Questioning is different from challenging. What is wrong for questioning a pastor for certain things he wants to imply in the congregation? Is there any sin committed? Does it mean I’m questioning his authority? No I just want a good reason for anything specially I want to know if it’s biblical or not. The word of God is always our highest authority, we can correct, rebuke any one if we hold God’s word properly. To believe that “if we have faith we need to follow without questions” is a faith that cannot stand the test of time. God created us with minds, he gave us the power to reason out to the things people are persuading us to believe or else a thing that cannot be argued and illustrated and questioned is not worth believing at all. And believe me a person whom all questions of his faith are answered are stronger than to those who never question their faith because they are 100% sure that what they believe is worth believing and dying for.
