(If you dont like long statuses, you may want to skip this one!------------>) TRANSPARENT MOMENT: I came to Facebook in 2009 not knowing ANYTHING about what a Facebook was AND knowing very little about the use of a computer! :-D What I have learned over these years has been solely by the grace OF GOD and word of wisdom which I am truly thankful for. When I came to Facebook, I specifically heard the Lord say to me, Use EVERY AVENUE available to teach and train my people. So, for me, being here is all about ministry. It is NOT about trying to build a platform or get church members but to teach! Often times, I share what is going on as far as activities and where I am traveling to for those who may desire to freely come and partake. But it is definitely NOT because I desire to be seen. It is sad that I should even have to address that but we have so many people in the body of Christ with their anointed selves who function solely on assumption because of the corruption of others until it is difficult for them to authentically DISCERN that which is of God! We ARE in the days when people are calling good evil and evil good! Nevertheless, I never thought that being in the virtual world people could be as messy as they are in reality. I am talking all sorts of high school games. People getting mad about statuses; firing off at folks indirectly; sending folks to spy on each other pages (WHO does that???); lurking around pages in the midnight hours trying to see what they can find out.....It is absolutely CRAZY! You cant even hardly ask for prayer these days because people are on the page diagnosing you as depressed, suicidal, waiting to prophesy or give a sermonette and everything else just because you ask for prayer! I have never seen so much off discernment in my years of ministry as in this hour! THEN we have people who absolutely hate one another! But my question is.....If a person has talked about folks and dislike them so much, then WHY would they keep going to their pages??? Common sense says if you know youre going to get mad EVERY TIME you look at certain peoples page, then DONT LOOK! To me, that really is simple. It is for ALL of the aforementioned reasons that I stopped visiting other peoples pages OVER a year (almost 2) ago! If I dont see it pop up in my News Feed, then I dont see it AT ALL! If I see it in my News Feed and I know that it is some mess, I use the Hide It button so that I dont even see it then! What is so VERY disturbing about ALL of this madness is that people keep putting it off on God and using God led me as a means to appease a fleshly desire and an excuse NOT to control their flesh. What is even worse it that when you start DELETING and BLOCKING folks because you do not desire to partake of their confusion, you can hear all of the chatter (in the Spirit realm) and they say you not showing love. To that, I simply say as Bishop Tudor Bismark says, The devil AND his mother-in-law is a liar! ANYTHING that is disturbing or violating our sphere of peace MUST GO! I can love you (as I am commanded) but I am not commanded to adopt chaos! The way I feel presently, I really do desire to leave Facebook permanently. I understand taking a break away from Facebook and all that good stuff. HOWEVER, when you have instructions FROM GOD, you have to WALK IT OUT in the steps that HE ordered until HE says differently! His instructions for someone else may not necessarily be the same instructions for me and I realize that. He may tell one to take a break but, for me, He says, Keep plowing! (I have to express that. If not, I already know ALL of the comments that will come next!) I am convinced that as bad as I want to shut this page down FOREVER, God is trying to teach me ENDURANCE and PERSEVERANCE! There is a strength and a tenacity that He is developing in me that I need for this next phase of my life and ministry! In other words, for this window of time on Facebook, for me, this aint even about the madness that I see but about GOD trying to show me how to REMAIN FOCUSED through it all, SHAKE THE DUST OFF and MOVE ON! Oh, YES, I do desire to go! :-D But for now, I shall STAND! I will keep sharing, deleting and blocking (when necessary) but I SHALL FINISH this assignment to the glory of GOD!
