#IfIHadAChurch Today would be our last church for the year, as - TopicsExpress

#IfIHadAChurch Today would be our last church for the year, as per usual there is no #IfIHadAChurch in December. There would be no intense debates and no dialogues about the existence of God nor the humanity of Jesus. My congregation and i would simply be sitting in a circle sharing and reflecting on their own spiritual growth over the months. I would sit in the middle of the circle and deliver a special #LoveNote message to the congregants: I want to thank you for taking this journey with me. When #IfIHadAChurch started in 2012 to some it seemed like a spiteful and sarcastic attack on Christianity and Christians, an attack that would fizzle out in no time. Being a deeply spiritual person myself The intention could have never been to spite, hurt or ridicule anyone, my essence could never allow that. Mine was simply to explore other ways,to show that there are other ways to perceiving God. There are other ways of reaching heaven enlightenment or God. My way is niether the right way nor wrong, it is also not the only way it is simply another way, another route. That is all #IfIHadAChurch is about. Having said that though little did I know that it would still be here in 2014. Early this year I stopped it for approximately 6 weeks. I stopped because I felt I had shared and poured out all that I could on this massive subject of spirituality, religion and God. I felt it was enough already, so imagine my shock when I received a lot and I mean a lot of inboxes and wall posts requesting it back. The fact that you wanted more, was probably the most humbling thing I ever experienced here on this platform. So here we are today my dear friends. I want to thank you for listening to something beyond logic and dogma by following these posts. I want to thank those of you who wake up slightly early on a Sunday morning just to read and participate on the post. I want to thank those who attend #IfIHadAChurch first before going to their own respective churches. I want to thank all those that will neither like nor comment but rather inbox their experiences with me. I want to say thank you to the pastors that engage me without judgement. And most importantly I want to thank the regular commentors, the people who make this platform vibrant and real - I want to thank you for your courage to engage on what is still considered taboo. Thank you so much, words can never express how much you mean to me. Until we congregate again in 2015, continue to seek, continue to question, continue to have courage and continue to love. Show compassion, kindness and grace everywhere you go and everywhere you are. Never forget that the kingdom/queendom of heaven is within you. Namaste. Love and green lights.
