Im intending to make a Conservatory. Before building up it, Id like to know more how can plants in the glass stove nurture so well in the four seasons. Lets gain the knowledge together. Daylight from the sun consist of considerably short wave length radiation, with approximately ten percentages being ultraviolet rays, approximately 40% being eyeable and about fifty percentages being short wave length near infrared ray. This radiation is Absorbed by the objects of the Earth or inside the glasshouse. In the Forcing House, the glass bounces the long wave length Infrared Radiation (IR) back down. This trapped long Wavelength Infrared Radiation is absorbed by Objects, which gives rise to further heating, and the cycle continues. Hence, the Glass Stove acts as Solar Collectors.
