********Important - Plea for Assistance********** Hi Everyone! Well - This isnt a note I send out very often, but weve just had an amazing offer! If we can pick it up, tomorrow, by 1PM, we can have 2250 pounds of Pro Plan dog food and 350 pounds of treats for a fraction of the normal cost! We used to get much of our food donated, prior to the cessation of the program run by Mars Pet Food. I would rent a trailer or a truck and drive down to the Columbus area, to pick up the food. Unfortunately, that program was discontinued about 2 years ago. Today, we got word that weve been accepted into a new program that can provide us with the food mentioned above. The bad news is that the distribution is tomorrow, in Lancaster, Ohio. Although Ive always gone in the past, this is coming at the worst possible time, with Canine Fun Days just 1 1/2 weeks away. I would have to abandon all our plans for working on the event, tomorrow, which would put us woefully behind. If you can help by making the trip, PLEASE let me know, ASAP. Well cover all expenses plus offer $150.00 for anyone who can make the trip. Youd be doing a great thing for the dogs! I would call and make the arrangements in the morning, for a rental vehicle.
