**Important Update** The United States Mint and the American Numismatic Association (ANA) announced today that sales of the 2014 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half-Dollar Gold Proof Coin have been suspended at the World’s Fair of Money in Rosemont, Il. The Mint and the ANA made the decision to ensure the safety of those wanting to purchase the coin and the safety of their own employees. Sales of other Mint products, including the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half-Dollar Uncirculated Coin Set, will remain available for purchase at the World’s Fair of Money. Customers are encouraged to order up to five per household of each product via our website at usmint.gov or by calling 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468). This announcement follows an earlier one today in which the Mint announced it was suspending sales of the 2014 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half-Dollar Gold Proof Coin at its three retail locations in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Denver.
