This shameful act will happen again and again as long as the islamic world stupidly continues believing embarassing and contested Hadiths like the one saying that the Prophet married Aisha when she was 9 years old. The islamic world along with its mentally sick "Ulama" like Saudi Sheikhs and Qaradawi (and their Shiite counterparts) is afraid of disputing the Hadith out of the fear that a large part of islamic "fiqh" and "ijtihad" would get under suspicion as well. This is true, but in my opinion a muslim does not need more than the Quran. How can a muslim think that Allah "forgot" something, which the Hadith had to mention seperately?
