"In any case, 2 Corinthians 5:21 sums up this contrast in Romans 5-8 between Adam and Christ, which started in Genesis 2:17, in one sentence, “For [the Father] made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Why is the Law not complete until it is fulfilled in perfect love to God in it? Because this is the motion of the Trinity; that is, the action of the Trinity is the perfect understanding and love of the Father to the Son and the Son to the Father. Furthermore, Jesus tells us directly the summary of the LAW is to LOVE your God with all your heart, mind and soul; thus, the Law in NOT fulfilled in any man until this happens. See, this perfect obedience of love, which the Law is an image of—the INFINITE LOVE of Son to the Father—is thus impossible for man to fulfill unless they love God as Christ does, but Christ loves His Father with an infinite soul, with infinite love! This is why Jesus not only has our sins credited to Him but also has His righteous fulfillment of the Law credited to believers, so that all believers have a perfect fulfilling of the Law, that upholds the value of God in an infinite manner, and so the believer has in the crediting of Christ the infinite righteous record of valuing God above all things. This is the structure given to us in Romans 5-8. We are animated, by the Spirit, with a love of God that values Him above all things in heaven because Christ gave us His record of this righteous action on earth. The degree to with Christ obeyed the Father in the Law is infinite, and so the degree of the Spirit animating and moving us in both receiving God’s love and loving Him back is both infinite and forever. The Spirit of life animates us in righteousness, as grace in an infinite degree, because we have been given Christ’s righteousness which was a human an infinite valuing of the Father above all others as nothing."
