...In personal lives, between people, there is a Shorthand we develop, a event or a joke shared, be it workplace or friendship driven, may become a double meaning, a quick route to a solution to a problem, and thus a simple mention of a word, can convey a lot, without the need for a long drawn out explanation, others will need. We need not look any further than the family unit for this style of relationship, the inner circle, where many will be on the same step, with a simple Shorthand word, - for instance, as kids growing up, every room in the family house had a name, which to a out sider would have no reference at all, yet by a simple one word, you could pin point where a item was in the house from whichever family member you asked. Thus when we care for someone, I find the deepest care is that of Shorthand, the need to understand your friend, your lover, your partner, husband/wife, your children...The life words of a parent to child, is a Shorthand to themselves, a platform of love, important to being bonded, a place to return to, in order to kick start any issue discussion. But the words between two lovers, that Shorthand, even spoken or unspoken as a look, a smile, a mere point of exhaustion, conveys so much that the other steps up and understands, without need to be anywhere else with them, the one we choose to love, but right in the middle of their personal page. .................Love is all Shorthand......
