“In the village of Mbogo, Susan was asked to share a word of encouragement in front of the large afternoon meeting after Bible study was completed. She went on to share the story of the woman at the well from John 4. As you may recall Jesus confronted the woman with her entire life story without ever being told, including her 5 husbands and current relationship with a man outside of marriage. In astonished response she acknowledged his authority as she repented of her sins and put her faith in Christ. After Susan shared this story from the Bible a woman came up to her from the group and shared her own personal story of prostitution and 9 different marriages. She too, like the woman at the well, immediately repented of her sins and put her faith in Christ for her salvation.
