"India is supposedly "polio free". However there is no jubilation over this "fact". This is because the true story is now exposed and in public domain. India is now suffering around 61,000 and cases of polio every year against 3147 in 1997. The definition of polio has been changed more than once and cases of polio are today known as Non Polio Acute Flaccid Paralysis. This NPAFP and polio are clinically indistinguishable. About the number of cases of polio caused due to the vaccine the actual number could be horrifying. In the year 2005 alone 1645 cases were detected and the counting stopped after that. It has also emerged that the very high incidence of NPAFP is directly proportionate to the number of OPV doses given. A study in Brazil has also implicated the OPV with Facial Palsy, Guillain Barre Syndrome and encephalopthy - damage to the brain. Nigerian authorities have found monkey viruses, both the female and male hormones and other contaminants. Clearly OPV is a disaster for India."
