•••Insert #72••• School was out and as usual Asi accompanied me to take a taxi home. She was trying her best to cheer me up along the way coz she could see I was so down. I had to pretend to be fine for her sake coz she was trying so hard and I ddnt want her to feel like all her efforts were for nothing so I just played along. We got to the taxi route and waited for some time until Mr Steves car approached, I was really not in the mood. Inside his car there was a girl from school but I ddnt know her coz we were not in the same class and I never made any effort to know everyone at school, I only paid attention to the relevant ones, phofu those who were relevant to me. He stopped right infront of us and we both had our annoyed faces on.. Him:Still havent changed your mind? Me:No sir I havent Him:(smiles)Ok u know where to find me when u do Me:Dont hold your breath sir u might just die Him:Being sarcastic? Me:No sir.. I felt sad for her & wished somehow someone couldve taught her how to carry herself, teach her self respect and value. I wasnt judging, I wished someone showed her love coz thats what happens in most cases, these girls get so desperate to be loved and cared for, something they lacked back home but the unfortunate part of all that was they looked for it in the wrong places, I just felt sorry for her,wishing she knew what I knew. I got home and I washed all my shirts,socks, jersey and skirt coz I knew I wasnt gonna have time the following day. I just wanted the day to end already so that it would be tomorrow for that matter I slept very early I ddnt even take supper. I kept on waking up multiple times during the night only to realise it was still too early for me to wake up. Finally it was morning, I woke up and took a bath ndalungiselela uhamba. I met Asi in town and we took a taxi to the address weve found in my moms letters.. The place was far and we had to take 2 taxis. Finally we got there and we looked for the house till we found it. It was in the surbubs which means my dad was well maintained for otherwise he couldnt have lived in that kind of a house, Asi:Lets go Me:what if they chase us away Asi:We just there to ask not break in.. Her:Ewe.. Ngenani We got inside.. The house was obviously new and renovated very nice and classy too.. Her:Ill call the madam for u.. Ningahlala phantsi Us:Enkosi The lady came and joined us in the lounge as we were sitting waiting for her.. She smiled when she saw us which gave me some relief coz that showed she wasnt as mean as we thought she would be. She came and sat down with us on the opposite chair Her:Hellow Us:Hellow mam Her:How are u? Us:We fine thanx mam and u? Asi:At least theres still hope Me:Thanx to u chommy I wouldnt have thought of that Asi:(smiles)Thats what m here for We got to our town and Asi took a taxi home coz it was already getting late nam ndahamba ndayokhwela eyam taxi and went home. Now all that was left was to pray that they find these contact details so that I could contact this Mr Kubheka person. We took one step and we still had a long journey to go... #MeLore
