**Insights into Fitness Industry BS** Supplements are not necessary for body composition changes, anyone who tells you they are is either trying to make a quick couple of euro, or doesnt have much of a clue themselves. People can lose weight while taking supplements, but just because something is done while weight loss is happening doesnt mean that this has anything to do directly with the fat loss or muscle gain. Take this as an example - if Mary wears a yellow t-shirt every day for a month while also starting an exercise and nutrition plan and loses a stone, does this mean that yellow t-shirts cause weight loss? Of course not. This is the difference between correlation (possibly related) and causation (directly related). Remember supplements are generally for convenience, if they actually worked and directly caused weightloss there wouldnt be a new BS supplement out every month. If anyone says they are 100% necessary for increasing muscle mass, or losing body fat - run a mile.
