An insurgency is an armed rebellion against a constituted authority An insurgency can be fought via counter-insurgency warfare, and may also be opposed by measures to protect the population, and by political and economic actions of various kinds aimed at undermining the insurgents claims against the incumbent regime....OR...Insurgency is the organized use of subversion and violence to seize, nullify or challenge political control of a region. As such, it is primarily a political struggle, in which both sides use armed force to create space for their political, economic and influence activities to be effective. Unfortunately we are made so financially starving that our financial resources are dried up to under take such expensive operation.It is a matter of shame that our loans installment is more than double to our defense budget.We beg loans to clear the just installment of the previous loans.....No one is serious in this regard and are reluctant to discuss even. How we can fight the insurgents with hand to mouth financial condition..?? Counter insurgency...may be defined as ‘comprehensive civilian and military efforts taken, to simultaneously defeat and contain insurgency and address its root causes’. Five basic principles for a successful counter-insurgency: 1..The government must have a clear political aim: to establish and maintain a free, independent and united country which is politically and economically stable and viable; 2..The government must function in accordance with the law;(Rule of Law) 3..The government must have an overall plan; 4..The government must give priority to defeating political subversion, not the insurgents as first step. 5..The government must secure its base areas first.Well equipped and quick response size able Armed forces is mandatory.For this lot of financial resources are required.A country under heavy debt can not fight against insurgents effectively. Where there is a will there is a way. We are fighting successfully with limited resources and producing good results.One day not very far.. In Sha Allah we will win this war on terror pitched against us by our enemies. WE CAN WE WILL.
