@Iqbal Latif Your recent update about the fish anecdote concerning David Foster Wallace inspired me to write this poetry and I feel immensely happy in sharing it with you and all my friends. For all my friends, Ill be pasting the original post by Ike in my comments so you can follow the thread from the beginning. I really hope you all enjoy this. Thank You :-) Its entitled: Where is the Water? We’re breathing ignorance, “Ignorance is bliss”, We name it innocence, have we come to this? Not even aware of what we really are, History is witness how we made it this far. Searching for this world and is globetrotter, Like when the fish asked “Where is the water”? Meditation, therapies, movements, religion, Offering explanations depending on region, Ideas and signals are swarming, a legion, My mind feeling numb as in lack of oxygen, Our own thought process we’re trying to slaughter, Like when the fish asked “Where is the water”? We’re walking forever, this road never ends, We’re going in circles, this path always bends, Some say divine is coursing in our veins, And some say its nature weeping in the rains, Maybe we’re too blind to see that we got her, Like when the fish asked “Where is the water”? Our existence is mystery, agnostic our minds, Are hunting for purpose, energy that binds, I look into my own self and then I wonder, Is it clever planning? Is it just a blunder? Questions lengthening, answers getting shorter, Like when the fish asked “Where is the water”?
