✞ Is Salvation Through Christ Alone? Don’t all religions - TopicsExpress

✞ Is Salvation Through Christ Alone? Don’t all religions lead to God? Isn’t one faith as good as another? Isn’t it arrogant to say that only Christianity religion leads to salvation? These are some common questions that people in our pluralistic world are asking today. In a world full of religions, many sincere people, including Christians, struggle with the idea that there would be only one (1) way to enter into a saving relationship with God. We might proclaim to skeptics that the Bible clearly states in the gospel, that salvation is made possible only by *faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus*. (*The gospel of Christ) The problem that answer faces is when communicating this biblical truth, is that many non-Christians will simply reply, “But I don’t believe the Bible!” Now what? There is a simple philosophical tool that can be extremely helpful here; it’s called the “Law of Non-Contradiction”. The Law of Non-Contradiction states that “A cannot be non-A”. In plain language, this simply means that something that is true cannot be anything but that thing which is true. For a simple example, if all snow is white it can NOT be true it is any other color. It would be a violation of the Law of Non-Contradiction. When it comes to the questions of religious pluralism and promoting the Christian claim of exclusivity (salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, the Law of Non-Contradiction can serve as a valuable tool. Here’s how it works: All religions in the world make absolute truth claims regarding the way to salvation…BUT the Law of Non-Contradiction shows they *CAN NOT* all be true. ✮Christians proclaim that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Jesus death and resurrection from the tomb for their salvation.) ✮Hindus claim that salvation (liberation) is achieved when a person builds up enough positive karma (good works) to escape the cycle of reincarnation. ✮ Muslims state that the possibility of salvation* results from submitting one’s life to Allah and faithfully carrying-out the Five Pillars of Islam. ✮ Buddhists say that salvation (Nirvana) is the result of detaching one’s self from the desires of the physical, material world As you can plainly see, because all the above claims are different...they cant all be true! For Real Bible Proof: Click Here ➽ clarifyingchristianity/b_proof.shtml In order to show that Jesus Christs sacrificial death and resurrection from the tomb is the *one true way* to salvation, Christians do have real apologetic evidence that the Bibles truth for the historicity of Jesus, the reliability that the *the gospel of Christ* is the only means of salvation. So if you want to be sure of your salvation, that you will have eternal life with Jesus in heaven, place your faith in Him now, believing he died to pay for your sins and rose from the tomb to save you.
