"It comes down to the way you treat people. When you treat people - TopicsExpress

"It comes down to the way you treat people. When you treat people (and not just animals) with dignity and respect all the time, you can work through anything." ~John Bacon. Why this seems so difficult for the rescue community to understand is deeply troubling to me. The PROCESS by which one resolves conflict with another, is just as important as the outcome which they are hoping to achieve. How they choose to conduct ourselves during these times, speaks volumes as to who they are. I discover more about a person (and also about myself) by how they conduct themselves and choose to engage with others during times of disagreement and strife, than I do at any at other time. Think about it...and be open to what you can learn. Doing so can make all the difference.
