Many scientists have been working tirelessly on a unified theory, uniting particle physics, quantum physics, with general relativity. String-theory type stuff. Einstein, of course, came up with the theory of relativity as a patent clerk in his mid-twenties. He then spent the bulk of his remaining career trying to unify it with quantum theory. He felt his own theory ... remember, e=mc², flawed. There had to be ONE theory to unite it with what they knew of the behavior of the smallest particles that ignored his theory. Einstein, variously described as an atheist or, at least (and more likely, considering his bent) and agnostic, would have appreciated the idea that we are interconnected ... though he would, no doubt, have appreciated it on another level. A string theory approach would have it that we all have miniscule tendrils of ...energy, attraction ... connecting us all. Impact one ... Impact all.
