And Im not referring to the annoying and overbearing background music. Its like the hold music when you call Home Depot. The absolute delusion and rationalization that goes on in the workshop dreamland is SAD. For me, its maddening to see how many of my colleagues are mentioned in just one 10 minute video. I was SO hoping that she would do a search that turned up NO ONE from that office who does workshops. But sadly, I dont think thats possible. I personally cant think of one TV casting office which doesnt have staff who do workshops - can you? Its embarrassing to see actors grovel to the very same people whose jobs depend on the actors in this town, and even more shameful to watch them create tools to kiss their asses. By the way, the chances of this woman achieving her goal and booking a Guest Star on a one-hour drama are actually diminished by relying on workshops. She is - whether she wants to admit it or not - a workshop actor.
