“It’s Fibro Friday again. Fibromyalgia makes it very hard to exercise. Here are a couple of motivational tips that can help (even if you don’t have FMS). If you find it difficult to yourself motivated, adopt one of the strategies below: Set times for exercise. Putting it on a wall calendar or even an online one can help greatly. A realistic goal might include d a certain number of times each week and a certain number of minutes each time. Make a contract with yourself. You can sign this written document and have someone else sign as a witness. For example, “I do 15 minutes on the treadmill before I read the paper each day.” Get an accountability buddy.
