“I’M ACCEPTING THE APOLOGY I’LL NEVER GET!” The person I was upset with on Saturday actually came to my house and acted a complete hot mess, despite everything I do to help them, but I’ve decided to just accept the apology I’ll never get because at the end of the day, everything is between me and God, as He’s the one to bless us! Yesterday as we came into work, we met a container with a shipment from the U.S. that made it all the way to Nigeria without any problems – God I’m grateful! The kids picked me up early to go home with them and before they’re even home, Blessing (our cook) was already preparing their favorite after school snack of fried yam! Joshie, my four year old was so happy to have me home that he must have kissed me about 50 times, never leaving my side. At one point I lied down in bed for just a few minutes and he came and snuggled next to me. Ember, my twelve year old, showed me her report card filled with such beautiful comments from all her teachers that I said to her, “This Ember that they’re talking about, can you bring her home instead and leave this one at school.” I’m enjoying my life with God and I’ll never get over how he arranged for us to meet that gentleman in Miami who sat down with my hubby and I for free for three hours and gave us the best advice to help us resolve a tough problem we were going through! On Saturday when I decided not to have any conversations with God I was upset and I was miserable! But when I truly live in my God space of Peace, Joy and Love, forgiving quickly, I’m bouncing around with gratitude, super happy just knowing He’s with me and for me and always way ahead of me helping me to fight my battles! God, I’m grateful! WE ROLL WITH GOD!
