“I’’ must become Less He must increase, but I must - TopicsExpress

“I’’ must become Less He must increase, but I must decrease. John3:30 The verse above summarizes the earnest desire of the Father concerning His children. John acknowledged this and began to willingly decline in relevance while the Profile of Jesus began to grow in the land. This is how it ought to be. Every day the world ought to see less of us (our flawed nature) and more of perfectness and love of the Risen Lord. What does that mean? It simply means that each day the world sees us, they must see more of God’s love and less of the anger and malice that we are known for. More of the generosity of Heaven and less of the stinginess and selfishness that may characterize us. More forgiveness and less hatred, etc. Our daily growth in God’s love and daily filling of His Holy Spirit will begin to yield visible fruit that has the effect of drawing others closer to God as they feel the warmth of true happiness, joy care and love radiating through us. Too many people are hurting. Too many are lost seeking a better way. We cannot help them with all our vices and flaws. It therefore is time to drink more of Heavens Sweet Spirit till He increases so much so that the old person in us totally disappears. We are more than colleagues in the workplace. We are wells of healing to those around us, but if we are empty of His grace, who may drink and be healed? Let us ask for grace to yield through His word and prayer and Let Him increase till He fills us completely. PRAYER CONFESSION: In Jesus Name I declare that I align my thoughts with God’s thoughts. I yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit of God and my life is filled with grace. I walk in the steps of Jesus daily. Amen
