You were wounded for my transgressions. You were bruised for my iniquity, Jesus. You were sacrificed for my sins & shame. You were chastised so I might have peace. You suffered so I get saved by your name; And in person know you who are in heaven. You shed your blood to heal me, Lord; By its shedding I was now being healed--- From sickness and disease I´ve been freed, By your stripes I have been made anew. By death and resurrection 2,000 years ago You died so that I may live forever with you. You restore my failing health to your delight And made it unfailing for your honor and glory.
