🔺👉🌾 JKNN SHAHARBEEN TIMES👇 Like our official news paper page facebook/jknn.net facebook/shaharbeentimes While talking on phone Director of Fire and emergency services to Jknn shaharbeentimes said that, serious Fire on 20th Nov in tunnel of 2nd phase of Uri Hydel Project was brought under control after a difficult & trying Fire fighting operation conducted by Fire & Emergency Services under the command & control Sh Rajimder K Hak Joint Director kashmir Range. Civil authorities & Army unit under control of Col J Sandhu ably assisted for a successful operation which continued for more than 24 hrs. The Fire call in the tunnel was first of its kind attended by any services in the country. The whole tunnel shall be kept under strict watch & ward for couple of days to control & eliminate chances re ignition. The role of Fire & Emergency Services for a successful operation applauded by civil & army authorities Losses estimates are being made by NHPC however huge losses expected in such like incidents have been kept to minimum just for a well coordinated & daring fire fighting operation.
