[JOB] SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE CEO of BOX Box is hiring someone to serve as Special Assistant to the CEO, Aaron Levie. This individual will report directly to and work closely with Aaron on optimizing his agenda as well as a variety of projects and initiatives. This will be an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to break into or grow in the tech industry, and learn what it takes to run a pre-IPO Silicon Valley startup. You’ll be flexible, thoughtful, and communicative, anticipating potential issues before they become a problem. You will have a deep interest in technology and thrive in a high-velocity, unstructured start-up environment. Youll look to ace your core responsibilities while taking on new projects that move Box (and your career!) forward. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple teams to prioritize and drive the CEO’s agenda—meetings, travel and events schedule Coordinate meetings, dinners, and events with key executives, CEOs, and other business leaders Assist in driving content creation for company and public communications from CEO, as well as quarterly board meetings Manage special projects and research assignments on CEO’s behalf QUALIFICATIONS B.A./B.S. from a top college or university 1-3 years of experience with making the impossible happen (e.g. operations, event planning, process creation, project management) Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to navigate ambiguity with aplomb Cross-functional team player who is able to execute effectively across complex organizations Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Outstanding written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail ABOUT BOX Box provides a secure way to share content and improve collaboration on any device.
