How about you look at who is funding the mosque before you try to show what a cultural coward you are in submission to the Muslim Brotherhood? The Bendigo Mosque is being funded by Australia Islamic Mission (AIM), sounds nice doesnt it? The head of AIM is a guy called Bashir Al Jamal. He is also the president of the Australian arm of a group called Human Appeal International (HAI). Now type that into google and see what happens: a 1996 CIA report identified Human Appeal International as one of a number of Islamic charities used as conduits for funds to terrorist organizations, and tied it to the Saudi-based Muwafaq, an Al-Qaeda front group. While recovery teams were picking through the debris of the World Trade Centre, the FBI was trailing through the accounts of Islamic charities with suspected terrorist links. The bureaus counter-terrorism division compiled a report for the US Department of Treasury. The document, obtained by Lateline, outlines a close relationship between Human Appeal International and Hamas. Hamas and Al-Qaeda links to the guys who want to fund the mosque in Bendigo? If I were Chief Commissioner of Police, Id be a bit more concerned about that than trying to see how far i can bow down to a known terror funding organization. Look at their website (AIM) they are bringing over a guy to speak by the name of Issam Al-Bashir. He is from the Muslim Brotherhood (a terror group in a number of countries) and he is head of the Fiqh Council of Sudan. That is a council that provides rulings of what is proper under Islam. He was head of that during the Darfur Genocide in Sudan. In that role he ENCOURAGED the Sudanese Government in its actions. So you have a group funding a mosque that brings in speakers who are known for condoning genocide, as well as having a history of funding terror groups - and you are saying that we are fear mongering? Maybe your lack of knowledge about this demonstrates that you are unfit for your job?
