(Jesus Said) “I have said these things to you while I am still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.” John 14:25-27 Jesus came to bring peace to the world. Jesus also brings peace to our lives. We should not let our hearts be troubled about issues that arise. We should also not be afraid to enter into any situation. Christ said that God would send the Holy Spirit to us. God will teach us everything that we need to know. We need to have faith in the work of God. We must also remember that as peace officers, we may be the Holy Spirit working in other peoples’ lives. We may be the instrument that God uses to teach. We may be the way that others’ are taught what Jesus said. Be open to the work of God, both in your life and through your life. Spirit of God, give us peace. Remind us of all that Christ has taught us. May we not be troubled or afraid. Amen.
