#JobOpportunity POSITION: IT Support - Executive Job Location: FMCG - Nairobi Salary – 40,000/= NATURE OF WORK: Implement & administer ICT policies that support the efficient and effective operations of the company ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK 1. Maintenance of current custom-made applications in VBA & MS access/MS Excel 2. Maintaining of IT infrastructure in the organization 3. Ensuring security of data using Kaspersky anti-virus throughout the organization 4. Perform regular system back ups throughout the network as per company policy 5. Troubleshooting of computer hardware and software related issues 6. Troubleshooting of other devices supporting computers e.g printers 7. Support MIS in preparation and implementation of training programmes that ensure sufficient computer literacy skills among the staff KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1. Programming skills especially in VBA 2. Networking skills and server management 3. Software installations 4. Broad ICT knowledge and the capacity to keep up with the current developments in ICT 5. Training and support skills 6. Hard ware maintenance. 7. Must have – PASTEL , VB. NET and able to design /tailor programs QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE 1. Should be preferably a university graduate in computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University 2. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in programming using VBA and MS Excel/MS access in a busy organization. 3. Relevant certification in MCSE or CCNA will be an added advantage 4.
