(John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. ) Do you remember when God called your name? or, Maybe He is calling you right now! I remember Him calling me, how I started to seek to know who He was.Started reading His word, listening to His word preached . I was hungry, I was thirsty, I was desperateto understand . finally realizing I could not live my life pleasing unto Him unless I answered His call with Yes Lord ,I hear, What do you want me to do.I believe in your Son Jesus and all that He has done, the plan of salvation , If you will forgive me of my sins I am yours , come into my life be my Lord and Savior. In thinking about How God calls us, made me think of two different people from the bible and How God called them. one is Samuel (1 Sam. chapter 3.) Samuel was a young boy and He ministered to the Lord before Eli the priest.When Samuel laid down to go to sleep The Lord called him and he answered with Here I am, He thought it was Eli caling to Him . For He did not no the Lord.The Lord called Samuel three times . The third time Eli perceived understood that the Lord had called the boy.Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down; and , if He calls you, again that you must say, f‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.” Next person I thought of totally different than the Young Child Samuel , Was Saul.( Acts chapter 8-9)Before his conversion, Paul, then known as Saul, was a "zealous" Pharisee who "intensely persecuted" the followers of Jesus.( As for Saul, che made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison. Acts 8:3) But, on his way to Damascus, Suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, dwhy are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So Saul, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”) It does not matter who you are, what you have done, how old or young you many be.If you have heard the gospel you have a desire to know more, want more of the truth of what Jesus has done and will do for you .The Father is calling your name. "Come get to know my Son Jesus", Now He leaves it up to us to answer Jesus tells his desciples and anyone that will come to Him , Follow me, Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and sI will make you fishers of men.”
