“Joy and gladness will be found there. Songs of thanksgiving will fill the air.” Isaiah 51:3 NIV I believe there are times or seasons of great rejoicing and celebration. There are also times of great mourning, grief or loss. Is there no middle ground? Yes there is! I believe that every day and season is a time to give thanks. No matter what is going on in our lives, we can be thankful and joyful. So this Thanksgiving, it does not matter if you are having a big feast with lots of company, a small dinner because you are a single parent, mourning the loss of a family member, raising a grandchild alone, serving in your community, or doing nothing at all, remember, it is a time to give thanks. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
