....Just as I crossed the St.J line....I heard that highway start to whine....and I knew that left rear tire was about to go.... (with a nod to the Charlie Daniels Band! LOL!!) Had a major blowout on my left rear tire this mornin on the way to work.At least two broken cords,and a big hole in the sidewall.Fortunately it was right at Weidmanns entrance .I had heard that noise that can only accompany a tire goin down....looked ahead up the road....no one comin south...put the throttle on the rug and headed into Weidmann parkin lot.Got stopped just as she settled down onto the rim. Installed spare,punched in and went to work.After work,I was able to follow a friend to his house and pick up another maypop to put on my wheel.Kevins Automotive fixed me right back up with all that business.Ironic thing is I have new rubber comin for my truck in two weeks! Anyway.....home now,and getting ready to take on sustenance.Headin for The Back Shed later this evenin.Lookin forward to participating in some music! Also really looking forward to the rest of the weekend.Dancin tomorrow night with Donna and our good friends,and then....whatever Sunday may bring.Forecast has been upgraded.....all is well!
