♡KEEPING IT REAL♡ I got my first workout in after 6 weeks and WOW does it feel fantastic and Im celebrating the little victories!! Fate would have it that a friends nuero surgeon offered to do some specialty work on my neck and it made a world of difference. Six weeks ago I was in chronic pain and could only be up for minutes at a time and last night I was able to do one of my favorite things...dancing!! During my workout I kept this annoying brace on to insure risking further damage and as a reminder keep my form in check. Did I modify the workout? YES. Did I feel weak? YES. Do I have to dig deeper in order to regain my strength? YES. Did I eliminate my excuses? YES. DID I learn alot about myself and others and come out stronger because of my journey? YES. Did I learn the true significance in never giving up? YES WE all have our own self limitations whether it be physically or mentally and there will be times that your inner strength will be tested beyond your limits and times when you feel hopeless. Yet it is so true that what doesnt kill you WILL make you stronger and you have to just trust in the process rather then fight it. I truly believe that God intended for me to SLOW down and appreciate all the little things that are going right and the beauty that surrounds me. Todays personal challenge to you. I encourage you to strive for more out of yourslef, to dig deeper, to do ehatever it takes, and most of all NEVER EVER GIVE UP!! #accountability #lifelessons #meaningoflife #IgotTHIS #beALLthatYOUcanBE #appreciation #bulgingdisc
