Kan inte låta bli att dela Babaks länk + kommentar; My single mother raised me and my two sisters during our first 7 years in Sweden with the help from the social welfare system. If it wasnt for that we would have gone hungry and worried more about our family economy than focusing on building a future for ourselves. Instead, thanks to social welfare, within 7 years my mother learned the language and had a job and me and my sisters by virtue of focusing on our studies got into good high school and subsequently good college programs. Within 3 year of graduating and getting our first jobs, me and my sisters had payed more in tax to the swedish system than all those years of welfare we received. Later I founded a company that over 5 years time created more than 20 jobs opportunities for the swedish economy and collectively payed more than €1M in taxes. Orders of magnitude more than all the welfare my family received. Im absolutely certain all of that wouldve been impossible, or at least much much less likely, had we not received that small financial support during those crucial years. #proud #grateful #swedishsocialwellfare
