Walking on our streets daily, am saddened by the number of kids on the streets sniffing glue, and the angry privileged Men and women who chase the kids away when they beg for 10 bob in our supermarket doors. I board matatus, very many a times you are in a Matatu and someone cant pay Ksh. 10 or Ksh. 20 and the Conductor wants to through them out of the Matt? And you want to grab a snack yet your neighbor cant pay 10 bob? Seriously? My Job involves me doing a lot of field works mostly in the interior parts of this country. The people I meet, the people I engage with have had an impact in my life, the society is suffering, most people back in villages are poverty stricken. But what about us? Sure we all forget about home,.... What if we all in our end Month pay after the 10% for the church, we set aside another 10% for the Less privileged in our society? Can this Work? Of course am not Bill Gates, but we cant all wait for us to be as wealthy as Bill gates to give back to the society. What if we cut back on the monies/Bundles we spend on our phones per week? Cost cut on unnecessary Airtime, what if per week we save Ksh. 50 bob each and deposit in some trust fund for the less privileged around us? We can also cost cut on Snacks and meals? On shopping? What do you think? Are we able to make the Society around us Better than we found it before we get out of this Society? Before our number of days are over on Earth? Kindly, I wanna hear your Views ( No Jokers, No Politics).
