***Kitten Update*** While we thought the news on Toasty was bad, we are saddened and sickened to report the news on our little girl kitten who is only 12 weeks old. She reportedly got stuck in the inside of a recliner, and was caught in the mechanism that reclines back. Skin, tissue, and muscle was ripped off. To make matters worse, the injury is so old, it has become necrotic (dead). This means this little kitten has been in pain for days. She arrived at the vet in shock, and is receiving life-saving fluids, antibiotics, and pain meds. She will need to have her leg amputated, but cannot until her system has stabilized. We cannot fathom the person who could let a kitten suffer, but are thankful she is now in our care. Please say a prayer for her, donate if you can, and ease SHARE.
