@Koyczan: Started writing a book about being an artist, but may have summed it up in the first paragraph. #artistsplight #art The second we figure out how to download a sandwich thats exactly what well do, but when people can barely afford to keep food on the table; art is going to be pirated. Simply because someone cant afford to support the artist they love doesnt mean they should be denied that which enriches their lives. I dread how dull our world would become without inspiration. Yes, Im an artist. Yes, I rely on fan support. I may never reach the heights of success that others know, but I am rich in spirit and grateful for those who support me. Compensation isnt always monetary... sometimes its just a shout out from someone who loves your work; both forms of support are necessary for any artist to succeed.
