*LADIES* chick flicks and disney movies RUIN long-term male-female relationships. How?: Pure and simple because deep down you believe their lies. They tell you that when that special someone comes around- they will make you feel a certain way, and they will treat you as if you are the center of their world. But what Hollywood is pushing on you is actually the marks of an *unhealthy* *abusive* boyfriend. A true healthy relationship will serve a purpose greater than itself. The culture sees the relationship as the means to happiness. But God gives a man to a woman for her greater sanctification into Christ-likeness. God provides a woman with a man in order to lead her closer to him. She becomes his main missionary task. Therefore... if a man truly loves you, some of the things he tells you to work on will hurt your feelings. He wont always make you feel ushy gushy and you wont always agree with him. But if he is yeilded to Gods will; it is for your overall good. So Do NOT believe the emotional lies of the chick flicks that say youve found the wrong one because he doesnt fit our societal mold.
