♡︵LIGHT︵♡ is on TUESDAY AFTERNOONs kill list at Manhattan ACC ~ Please help this friendly family dog find the foster or adopt he needs in order to make it out alive. A volunteer writes: Light may be a gentleman of a certain age but youd never guess it by looking at him - hes still as spry and beautiful as a teenager! Light loves to chase a ball or romp around in the snow and his tail wags happily, not side-to-side like your average dog, but straight up and down! He walks well on leash, though he is a strong boy and can pull at times, and I find him fairly easy to handle as he checks out all the best smells and leaves a few of his own. This well-trained guy clearly has his bathroom manners down as his den is spotless and he uses the facilities copiously as soon as we step outside. Light also sits nicely for treats or a toss of the ball and though he likes to chew on it for a bit I can pick it up to throw again with no problems. When we meet other dogs he is calm and pleasant and were told by his previous owner that Light gets along well with other animals and even children, though he needs his own space when its chow time - Light is very serious about his food! Though the sudden whirlwind of recent events has left Light understandably anxious hes a friendly boy who likes petting and sweet talk as much as the next dog and hed just love to find a new home where he can run, play, love and be loved for the rest of his days.
