:: LIMITED EDITION - Royal Mint of Malaysia Dinars :: I was informed of the availability of some very interesting collectible gold pieces: Royal Mint of Malaysia Dinars for sale that was minted circa 2003/04. I was highlighted of their availability from the very people who supplied the gold and silver coins that I got from KL in my previous post. Apparently these series of gold coins minted AFTER the introduction of Malaysias Kijang Emas gold coins was suppose to be a state-backed gold coin, before production was halted due to some issues that is rather complicated to post here. From the person I am in contact with: FYI, the dinars were the very first ones minted locally in Malaysia after then Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir approved their creation not long after the Asian Financial Crises of 1997/98. Right now there are 10 of these coins (1-Dinar) available for sale and from what I was informed, they cost no more than SGD $300 each at current prices (before shipping). Any interest?
