**LOOKING FOR THE ELUSIVE PERFECT HOME FOR GIZMO** Gizmo was surrendered into my care almost a year ago with her pure bred Bengal mother and her two crossbreed sisters from a backyard breeder, and was absolutely terrified of humans (the breeder who owned them had no use for them, and was going to put them into a possum trap, and throw it into a dam). She would cower in the corner of the crate I had her and her 2 sisters in, and literally shake with fear. Her sisters were also afraid of humans, but not nearly as afraid as poor Gizmo. After a lot of time and patience, Gizmo has blossomed into the most beautiful girl, and I am so proud of how far she has come. She is still quite shy around strangers, but once she gets to know people, she loves a good smooch, and will roll onto her back for a belly rub, or hop up onto your lap for a pat. True to her Bengal roots, Gizmo will become quite offended if you try to pick her up, and will bounce away from you before coming back for more pats. Gizmo loves a bit of a chat, and has a varied repertoire of meows she will use to have some quite in-depth conversations with you. In the time I have cared for Gizmo, as you can imagine, I have become very attached to her, and am looking for a perfect home for her. She will need time and patience from her new family until she settles in, because I feel that moving house again MAY set her back a little bit in her confidence - but not one second of your time and patience to gain her trust will be wasted - she truly is a beautiful girl
