”La Fiesta” I am sure that all of us felt good about the Fiesta. The attendance was very good, the music was very enjoyable, and there was a good spirit among all of us. But as you also know, it takes a lot of work to put it on. And that meant that we needed lots of people to do their part. For an event like this one needs overall leadership, and so we are very thankful to Susan Velasquez for giving us that leadership. But then there were so many other persons who offered to take charge of individual aspects of the Fiesta. I am afraid to try to give all their names because of the fear of leaving someone out. By many persons stepping forward and doing their part the whole of our celebration came together. We are very grateful to all of them. But there is also a lesson in that for life. Only when we work together can life really happen. It means cooperation with others. It means taking suggestions from others. It means fitting what we do in with what others do. It means being open to leadership. On the other hand it means giving of ourselves and being responsible for our role. Each one needs to do their part.
