**Leading by example** I dont think anybody would disagree with the fact that DNA pairs have dominated the match scene again this year. To keep up the trend, boss man Jase Trought, and partner Daz Wilcox, put in a convincing performance last weekend to win the Northern Carp Cup and become the 2014 champions. Against a quality field of anglers, a decent draw, their knowledge of the water and sticking to a set game plan all worked in their favour. Winning tactics were Wraysberry Wafters and bags of red maggot that had been liberally doused in the Wraysberry booster liquid. These were fished over Spombed red maggot and SLK pellet mixed 50/50 and resulting in 6 fish for 95lb 13oz. Well done fellas!
