**Lessons Available** Deaton Farms is open to boarders! Beautiful, laid back farm on approximately 8.5 acres of pasture, with a nice 8 stall barn, wash rack, tack room, and riding arena. All breeds of horses and types of riders are welcome, whether you want to dominate the show ring or hit the trails. This is a family friendly environment, and everyone is welcome. My goal is to keep things positive and make sure everyone is having a good time, and to work with each and every boarder as if they were my own family. We feed quality timothy hay and Nutrena ProForce, as well as administer supplements and medications as needed. We can also work with you on your horses nutritional needs. Full board is $450/month which includes feed, fly spray as needed, lights in stalls in the winter, and blanketing. Pasture board is $250/month which includes feed, hay, and blanketing. Lessons are $35 for 45 minutes to 1 hour on your horse, or $150 for a package of 5. Instructor has been involved with horses for 16 years, and showing for 12 years, with extensive experience in hunter and dressage based riding, as well as experience starting horses from the ground up. Your instructor is also welcome! We will also help treat southern conditions such as thrush, rain rot, and scratches, free of charge. Trailer parking available. Additional discounts available in exchange for barn chores in the AM and PM hours with references and/or the use of your horse in a small lesson program. Owner lives on site.
