Lest we forget ! . A million boots are marching, in a dusty foreign land, Condemned to conflagration, by the greed of human hand, From Pakistan, Afghanistan, to Mons, and Ypres too, Hear this call you soldiers. - We have not forgotten you ! . A million voices telling us. When you go home and say, Remember, for your tomorrow, - that we gave our today ! . From centuries, through history, you answered england`s call, And we, - who do remember, - do pay homage to you all. A million poppies falling, at a silent, last parade, A soldier`s voice is silenced, but his memory will not fade, And as we sing at cenotaphs, those hymns we know so well, We remember all those voices lost, to wars infernal hell !.
