Dear Lord, We lift all those who struggle with an invisible disability.We ask for your healing hand to be upon them. We ask that you touch their pain...physically, emotionally, mentally. Lord, so many with these illnesses also have to deal with getting very little support because they dont always look sick on the outside. Many people accuse them of being lazy, or wanting attention and they are met with little support, understanding or sympathy. We ask that you would heal their wounded hearts as well. We ask that you would open the eyes of those around them that they might understand and believe. We pray for good doctors that truly understand what they deal with and we ask for provision of the needed medical treatment that so many are denied. We pray for those who are trying to get on disability and are having trouble. We ask that you would go before them and make a way where there seems no way. We ask for comfort Lord. We ask for peace. We ask for support in tangible forms to help with the things they can no longer do. We ask for compassion and kindness and to remove the isolation that so many experience. We pray that awareness will increase for every mental and physical illness that each one suffers with. Lord, we ask for financial provision as well, as many are in need because they cant work, or their meds and treatments are too costly. Lord, the added stress of financial burdens just exacerbates their conditions. We ask for help with their stress. We ask for help with their depression. We ask that these things will draw each one closer to you so that you will be their strength. We ask for help in the relationships that are feeling the strain that an illness can bring. We pray for renewed energy and strength as so many suffer with such fatigue. We are asking for your mercy and grace to rain down on them now,Lord. Please bring healing and restoration for all that has been lost. Please meet every need, spoken and unspoken we pray. Please fill each person with hope and let them know that they have a purpose...let them know that you see their needs and hear their cries...may they find rest and peace in you Lord. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
